Announcement!

One of our morning speakers, Dr. Couturier,  had a family emergency come up last night and needed to cancel his sessions that were scheduled between 8:00am- 9:45am. The seminar will start at 11:00am. Email notifications were sent to as many attendees that I had email addresses for. Please send me an email to RSVP or for refund information at tmatthews@coloradomesa.edu

Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to the website for the 19th annual Winter Seminar hosted by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science-Colorado (ASCLS-CO) and St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction!

The seminar provides continuing education and social opportunities for laboratory professionals that reside on the western slope and throughout the state of Colorado and Wyoming. Various speakers are invited each year to provide continuing education sessions in management and technical topics related to the laboratory profession. The event also provides opportunities for attendees to get to know one another and to share ideas and experiences related to our profession.

The seminar will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2019 on the 5th floor Saccomanno Education Center of the hospital.

Paper programs, registration forms, and handouts will not be printed this year.  The program and handouts will be available through the linked Winter Seminar Dropbox folder as they become available. You will also be able to access the documents from the “Session Handouts” tab located on the menu bar above.

Attendees may pre-register online for the seminar by January 18th through EZ Register. EZ Register allows for group or individual registrations by credit card only. Although online registration will close on Jan 18th, we can accept walk-ins the day of the seminar. We are encouraging everyone to pre-register online to help plan for meals in advance and to help speed up registration the morning of the seminar.

At the seminar, attendees that have not pre-registered will be able to pay by cash, check (made payable to ASCLS-CO) or credit card via Square. Please email Tracy Matthews at tmatthews@coloradomesa.edu  with your registration and lunch information if you are not able to pre-register online.

ASCLS-CO is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program.
